FACING THE REAL ME

We go through life with a constant need for acceptance and a yearning for approval, not just for our actions but also for who we are or who we think we are.

Have you ever just wonder where did these "who we are" traits come from, when did they become what defines us as individuals and did we in fact have any control over them?

Listen, if we are suppose to be products of our environment and influenced by those closest to us. Technically we had no control over the development of these "who we are" traits that originated from when we were in the "development state of our minds" influenced by those closest to us? In that case have we spent our entire lives searching for approval on personality and behavioral traits that technically aren't organic to whom we are as individuals?

THINK THINK THINK….

When we get to a curtain age I believe it is important to spend a great deal of time with our thoughts so we can better decipher the difference between WHO WE ARE from who we were told to be. This will allow you and me to be honest with the world and us. I’m curtain if approval is what we seek then we should at least be getting it based on traits that actually belong to us..
